Christian Hootman Vice President, Head of Fund Administration

Mr. Hootman joined Capital Management in 2024 and has 20 years of experience in investment company operations. Mr. Hootman heads Capital Management’s Fund Administration team, which is responsible for the operations and product management of the MoA Funds. In his most recent previous position, Mr. Hootman served as the North American Fund Services Implementation Group Manager and Senior Vice President at Citi Fund Services. In this role, he and his team were responsible for the successful project and change management of accounting, custody, exchange traded funds, middle office, and securities lending projects for domestic and international institutional capital management investment advisors. Prior to that, Mr. Hootman held multiple roles within Citi’s Fund Accounting department which calculated and distributed NAV’s, distribution factors, and reporting for mutual funds, exchange traded funds, collective investment trusts, and separate accounts.

Mr. Hootman earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University and holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
