Ron Viener Vice President, Head of Trading and Middle Office

Ron leads the Equity Trading initiative at Mutual of America Capital Management LLC. Ron brings over 23 years of experience in Asset Management and Investing, and has been responsible for Trading, Operations, Investor Relations and Research functions. Prior to joining Capital Management in 2020, Ron was responsible for representing Consumer Small-cap public companies as Vice President of Investor Relations at ICR. Prior to that position, Ron was a Partner and Director of Research & Trading at Daruma Capital Management. He commenced his professional career as an Associate at Bear Stearns, began Trading equities at Citigroup, and held senior Trading and Analyst roles at Millennium Management and CastleRock Management.

Ron earned his master’s degrees in business administration from New York University, specializing in Finance and Financial Instruments & Markets and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Albany.

Ron is active in his community as a coach and local volunteer.
