Stephen J. Rich Chairman
Mr. Rich has over 33 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Capital Management, from 1991 to 1999, he was Vice President at JP Morgan Investment Management, having roles in the Large Cap Structured Equity and the Small Cap Active Management groups. From 1999 to 2001, he served as Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, at Citigroup Asset Management. In 2001, Mr. Rich rejoined JP Morgan Investment Management as Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for the Active Small Cap Value Group, until he joined Capital Management in 2004.
Mr. Rich is a graduate of Princeton University and has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. While at Princeton, he was a member of the varsity wrestling team, and in 1991, placed sixth in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Conference. He served as the 2008 Mutual of America United Way Chairperson. Since 2015, Mr. Rich has served on the Board of Trustees of the Randall’s Island Park Alliance (RIPA).
